Our gorgeous little boy is now 14 weeks old. He is sporting a healthy 12lbs and 11oz's. As you can see, he has a head full of hair. Currently it is strawberry blond. He has mastered smiling and cooing and loves to babble. But he has also mastered the best pout face I have seen in a long time. He grabs hold of things and holds on while trying to make it in his mouth. He is also good at rolling over from his back to his tummy, but needs the proper motivation to do so:)
Dakota loves to be around people and will choose attention from an adult over a toy anytime. He loves to be held and spends lots of time in the sling and Mei Tei. I am trying to convince him that the stroller is just as good, but so far I have not succeeded. He will only sit in a stroller for about 3/4 mile. His favorite toys right now are a brightly colored octopus by Discovery Toys and a red, black and white caterpillar by Kids II. He has recently found lots of fascination in our dog Jenny.
He is extremely inquisitive but has a short temper. We have successfully made it through colic and I fear now we are moving straight into teething. He is going to be a high needs child. I think this will be are only child...

Lisa and Monte. He is so adorable! I'm glad everything is going so well now. You look wonderful. Did you get your hair cut? It looked darling! Wish I could see the little one, but so glad you can keep us updated with pictures. Would love to know if there is anything you need that we can send out with your Dad and Becky. Wish we could hide in their luggage. Hugs and kisses and give Dakota an extra one. Love Auntie Joyce
