Ok, I am officially finished shopping for Dakota. I have everything I could possibly need for the at least the first month. Other than nursing bras, we are just waiting for Dakota.
I have 7 weeks until I go on maternity leave. Let me tell you, maternity leave could not come fast enough. The biggest change I have noticed in myself, other than my growing belly is my lack of focus. I am usually a pretty motivated and great at getting things done. But beginning last week, I can't focus enough to get much of anything done. It took me 3 hours to sew a diaper stacker and it should have only take me 45 minutes to an hour.
Dakota is active and I think feeling cramped now. His favorite position is, if you are looking at me, would be the number 7. His head is above my left hip, if his feet are not in my right ribs, then his feet are extended all the way out the right side of my belly. It doesn't hurt, it just feels funny. He rarely moves from this position because I never feel movement on my left ribs.
Monty has been sick now for 3 weeks. I am not just talking cold type symptoms, I am talking about being miserable. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Lots of love,
Lisa
